Micro-CT was performed to a small sea urchin (Echinoidea, Echinodermata). This specimen was fixed and preserved in 96% ethanol. For this specimen, no contrast agent was used. Scan was performed with a Skyscan 1172 at a voltage of 48kV and 200μΑ with an aluminium filter of 0.5mm for a full rotation of 360o . This specimen was scanned at a medium camera resolution with an exposure time of 500ms. This scan was performed for testing visualization techniques of several marine organisms. Specimen was provided and scanned by Sarah Faulwetter.
