Micro-CT was performed to a Hexaplex trunculus specimen. This sample was fixed in formalin and preserved in ethanol. For this specimen, no contrast agent was used. Scan was performed with a Skyscan 1172 at a voltage of 100kV and 100μΑ with Aluminium and Copper filter for a half of rotation of 180o . This specimen was scanned at the medium camera resolution with an exposure time of 2480ms. This scan was performed within the framework of MACCIMO project funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) under the “2nd Call for HFRI Research Projects to support Faculty Members & Researchers” (Project Number: 03280). Specimen was provided by Thanos Dailianis and scanned by Emmanouela Vernadou and Niki Keklikoglou.
