This scan was performed for the assesment of the effects of climate change and ocean acidification on marine gastropods within the ECCO project (https://ecco.hcmr.gr/). Micro-CT was performed to Hexaplex trunculus gastropods which were maintained under normal pH and ambient temperature. For this specimen, no contrast agent was used. Scan was performed with a Skyscan 1172 at a voltage of 100kV and 100μΑ with an aluminium and copper filter for a half rotation of 180o . Images were acquired at a pixel size of 13.79μm with an exposure time of 2480ms. Specimen was provided and scanned by Eva Chatzinikolaou.
